Image
As a group we decided it would be a good idea to put our video on to Facebook as there we would get honest opinion from family and friends and from the four of us get the opportunity to out it out to over 4000 different people. Above are just some of the great feedback from our film, showing that our handwork paid off and people really did enjoy our film.

Comparison of Prelim task to main film: When filming our prelim task, my group and I were unaware of how to use the camera, as it was the first time using a proper camera rather than our phones but also we had never been in a situation of using a high tech camera before. When we were looking over at the storyboard at first, we thought we just had to film it all from one shot. We didn't know we had to shot it from all different angles.   In our Prelim task we used three types of shots: close up shot, wide shot and a medium close up. However in our film there were a variety of shots including an establishing shot and even a bird’s eye view shot, which we used a drone to enhance to viewing experience and give another viewing perspective. How does our media product represent Different social Groups? AGE In our film, our two characters that play roles are of completely different ages. first we have the eastern european taxi driver who plays the role as a 45-50 year old male where as our young female actor plays as a 17-18 year old girl. Throughout the film, it clear the male figure has the dominant authority over the girl as its clear as he kills her in the ending. The female actor though is giving herself away as an easy target that is under threat to to her current state of being quite drunk which is a reason why the taxi driver is able to take full advantage. Furthermore, due to his acent and culture many members of the public deem eastern european men as quite intimidating. Stereotypical is also a term which can be referred to both our characters. first the young girl who is always out partying and getting drunk with little care and responsibility for herself, where as the males accent and job is seen as a usual

WHAT WE DID TO EDIT OUR FILM

Image
What Editing techniques did we use During our shoot day we film over 300 individual clips, some useful and some not but the most challenging thing was going through each clip and working out which ones to keep and discard which took and awful amount of time, this however made sure we had the best footage available  to put into one film and make it the best we could, we did however keep some clips that were similar and at the highest quality possible to compare how they fitted in with the rest of the clips either side of it. finally we did take extra shots for our film but those parts never the cut as we realised the film would become long winded and slightly boring for the viewer. When filming we managed to gather a lot of shots at different angles. This meant we were able to create a much better viewing perspective by putting many different shots throughout the film. We invested in a lot of time to make sure all our shots were in perfect order with correct timings to make sur
