HANNA ESCAPE SCENE REVIEW

Escape scene review: This scene from the film hanna is filled with drama, action and lots of great sounds and camera shots. during the opening part where hanna starts her escape mission, close ups of her face are used to detail the blood squirts from her victims she has killed which shows ruthlessness and how strong and tough she is as person. further more a close up of the gun shows us that this item plays a key role in her escape and a medium wide shot shows us the massacre she has created in killing all these security guards. As this scene is going on, music is used to entice the audience which gives enhances the term "action" film. The way the beat drops in the music relates to her foot steps and her actions during her escape. The way in which the camera follows her through her escape shows that she is in control and that we are following her and she is protecting us. Throughout the film the mise en scene is used in a way to enhance the experience for the audience to

SKYFALL SWEDING FROM YOUTUBE REVIEW

Image
My Review Of A Sweding From Youtube: The sweding video that I watch was a remake of scenes from the film Skyfall. From the opening the camera lighting and music are exactly like the real thing truly capturing the tension and anticipation created in the scene from Skyfall. However this sense of realness is quickly ruined by the way in which bond enters the car which is being driven by his partner by the wide shots of the car chase being created out of lego. Furthermore inside the car of the chase scene, a lack of enthusiasm and tension and is used providing the audience with little fear and character feelings. the positives though from this sweeping is that the group of characters to reenact the originals very well and the props used are very reminiscent of the ones from the film. As well as this the editing I thought was done very efficiently as the music and the camera cuts and shots are all done the exact right timing making the viewing more enjoyable.

SWEDING OF PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS

Pursuit Of Happiness Sweding:  The film we chose for our sweding was the 'Pursuit of Happiness' for different reasons. First of all, as a group we discussed many films and we came to an agreement that most of us were all comfortable with the film and knew it well enough to act it out. Another reason was that we loved the brilliant overview determination message it sends to the viewers throughout the film. Finally we knew the film it very well and some of our group knew most of the words before looking into the script so we decided to do 'Pursuit of Happiness'. The three different scenes we chose to film was based on our favorite scenes, what we thought were the most powerful, inspirational scenes in the film and the scenes that portrayed the clear overall message of the film. It was very easy to find actors for this film as we used all the people in our group to play different part and actors in the film, which in the end worked out well and was organized. It w

CAMERA SHOTS

Camera shots:  When we were using the camera we notified the following areas in which we needed to considered - Angle - Movement - Position - Composition - Depth of field - Camera fields ESTABLISHING SHOT: sets up or established the setting of a scene usually at the beginning at the movie or a scene CLOSE UP SHOT; tightly frames a person or object to show detail MEDIUM SHOT; shows body language, less detail, waist or knees up LONG SHOT; shows the surrounding, typically filmed from a distance TRACKING SHOT: follows the action at a constant distance BIRDS EYE VIEW:looks down at an image from a high point DOLLY SHOT: does not follow the action but moves at a constant rate HANDHELD SHOT; camera man uses his own hands to follow it and shows the subjects perspective ZOOM SHOT: zooms in and out of an object SWISH PAN: moves camera from one subject to another very quickly HIGH ANGLE: shows a character has more power located above and looks down REVERSE ANGLE: u

PRELIM TASK EXPLANATION

Image
Prelim task For our prelim task we filmed in an open space where the lockers bare situated which made the plot seem more realistic and effective. I think the filming went well due to having a well behaved and mature of group. The role I played in the filming was filming the medium close to close shots of the scene as well. I also dictated when ACTION!!!  Was needed to guide my groups to the perfect timing The lighting in the open fit the scene perfectly as it complimented the quietness of the struggle when trying to open the locker. However there were elements where the lighting worked perfectly in setting the scene and creating tension and the power difference between the two characters, meaning the male character trying to open the locker struggles for power over the character feeding him with pressure Before filming, my group and I were quick to set up the camera however we struggled when it came to adjusting the angle of the tripod to film the different shots, but afte

USUAL SUSPECTS 5- MINUTES REVIEW

Image
Usual suspects 5-minute review Mr Keaton is interrogated at the restaurant and shown most on screen in the opening five minutes, this could symbolise how vulnerable he is and how dangerous he could be. However Mr Keaton could be known as one of the calm culprits of the crime committed which may of meant that the police didn’t need to take dramatic action in arresting Mr Keaton knowing he was defenceless at the time. In five minutes of usual suspects we learned quite a few things from each of the characters. The first count to be Mr Keaton shows that he is quite an upper-class man and likes to dine in expensive restaurants. This may symbolise he doesn’t have much to do with the actual crime committed but more the financial side or the brains behind the job. Powder is Mr McManus who seems to be one of the most dangerous people in the whole of usual suspects. This is because when the police arrive at is flat there; a SWAT team is there for precaution as well as heavy armour taking
