FEEDBACK FROM OUR WEBSITE








From the feedback we have received, everyone gave very positive feedback. They all very much liked the black and white theme which continued from the music video. Furthermore the simplify of the website made it easy to navigate to the different parts of the website. They also believed that the hint of green was a nice addition and overall all the people interviewed loved it.

The people that we interviewed like the photos of the band as it made it look like an old-school band cover.  They  also appreciated the choice of colours, although some did believe that the website should of been a bit brighter. However they did think that the font needed to be a different colour to stand out and catch the eye.

some feedback given to improve our music video is that, they believed there should of been more of a narrative in the music video with a wider range. Another way in which we could of improved our overall product is to of had another band member playing another guitar as in our current project, the amount that is needed to be played , is impossible for one person to carry out.

Some of the lighting was seen as slightly to bright and some was to dark, not showing a constant colour correction percentage throughout the music video and also some of the shots were a bit repetitive so that lead us to filming a few new shots to break up this repetative  theme







Survey Monkey Feedback




This simply showed us that it was a mix between male and female that
had taken an interest to the band and decided to complete 
the survey


The age demonstrated that the band had caught the eye of
of a very small age gap showing it is more
appealing to the young audience



However, when a simple yes, no question towards the music video 
was asked, a few more people decided they did not like the concept of 
the music video

This let us no that the narrative of the story was a bit confusing for some
and that next time we should work on making it
easier for the audience to understand by 
having a much clear story however some did get it

However although a number of people took a disliking to
the video, they did take the time to watch it more then once which
may mean there were particular parts of band members they
took a liking to

The majority of people found the band was similar
to the the kings of leon who's song it originated from. However some 
did feel we were in relation to other bands aswell



We analysed the detailed responses and would defiantly take them into
consideration i we were to make another video, for example expanding
the term original and choose a less well known song which would
make the whole  video more enjoyable



Here we simply acknowledged and appreciated the 
positive comments which we would carry through into our next
project 


A50/50 split between the surveyors believed the Black and white theme 
enhanced the organic theme of the band and some didn't however in this case we 
believe its down to personal choice 

A mix shows that some people would return for
another music video if we were to produce another, however 
i believe if people viewed our next video, they would definitely  return for the next

OUR BAND WEBSITE

This is why we have gone for the black and white style to give them that authentic image. We have gone for this type of theme throughout all our products including the music video and the digipak. We wanted the star image to come across on the website showing they are a simple band who just want to produce good music for their fans. As well as not having abstract colours to draw in fans as we focused on the music side of our band to increase our fanbase.  Our front page is different to many other bands website similar to ours. We wanted a big bold photo of our band to draw the attention of the audience to the band so they become more recognisable and well known. SHOOT DAY

On the first Morning of shooting, were we very lucky to have nice bright blue sky weather, however due to the strong sunlight the filming was effecting due to the number of shadows created by people and camera equipment but on a whole I think we managed it well. Furthermore, the ability to use a drone to film some birds eye shots was another bonus as it added another dimension towards our movie and the viewers perspective. Unexpectedly when filming  we did however come across a problem which was the ride of the vehicle uses in the filming. Due to hard suspension some film was jigging about and quite bumpy which did effect our progress but does mean we have to work extra harder to make the film look professional and get the best features in to add to the 'horror' themed effect.
