MOOD BOARD

In our mood board we tried  to visually express the mood and theme of our music video. 
The most important part of a mood board is the colours and that is why we decided to keep the colours mainly black and white apart from one obvious one in the middle where a band is performing. 
This is because throughout are music video there will be minimal lighting apart from when there are shots back at the studio of the band performing as it shows there passion for music and wanting to become famous reiterated. The setting in the mood board shows that open space and the country side will be a key part of the music video due to it reinforcing the idea that the band have huge dreams and have no limits to there success. This links in with the narrative as its all about the band becoming famous and starting at the bottom as ordinary people. This is shown in the mood board as a few of the images show men being on there own alone. The image of the band is shown in the mood board because you can see ordinary men walking  in casual clothes or suits which brings back the idea that the band are a group of normal people wanting to become famous from their music.

OUR BAND WEBSITE

This is why we have gone for the black and white style to give them that authentic image. We have gone for this type of theme throughout all our products including the music video and the digipak. We wanted the star image to come across on the website showing they are a simple band who just want to produce good music for their fans. As well as not having abstract colours to draw in fans as we focused on the music side of our band to increase our fanbase.  Our front page is different to many other bands website similar to ours. We wanted a big bold photo of our band to draw the attention of the audience to the band so they become more recognisable and well known. SHOOT DAY

On the first Morning of shooting, were we very lucky to have nice bright blue sky weather, however due to the strong sunlight the filming was effecting due to the number of shadows created by people and camera equipment but on a whole I think we managed it well. Furthermore, the ability to use a drone to film some birds eye shots was another bonus as it added another dimension towards our movie and the viewers perspective. Unexpectedly when filming  we did however come across a problem which was the ride of the vehicle uses in the filming. Due to hard suspension some film was jigging about and quite bumpy which did effect our progress but does mean we have to work extra harder to make the film look professional and get the best features in to add to the 'horror' themed effect.
