Inspiration for Instrumental 

Developing our ideas of Music Video: 



During one of our media lessons, I was started listening to some music and watching music videos on 'You tube'. After watching one specific section of a particular music video I really liked the look of, I decided that it would be a good idea to use in our music video. This idea was to have our band members getting ready for their day at the beginning of the song during the instrumental. This was inspired to us by the grime artist Dave in his popular music video 'Picture Me'. This is because in Dave's video it had someone getting out of bed, getting dressed and off to work for an ordinary. We believed this will help us interact with our audience because they can relate to the normal lifestyles that the band members lived before they came famous and stars in the music industry. This can inspire the younger generation; that is our audience because it may teach them that if you work hard, no matter young background you can achieve big things. This is exactly what we are trying to reinforce in our music video throughout as are band start off as nothing and get bigger throughout as they train in the studio and eventually perform to a live audience.

OUR BAND WEBSITE

This is why we have gone for the black and white style to give them that authentic image. We have gone for this type of theme throughout all our products including the music video and the digipak. We wanted the star image to come across on the website showing they are a simple band who just want to produce good music for their fans. As well as not having abstract colours to draw in fans as we focused on the music side of our band to increase our fanbase.  Our front page is different to many other bands website similar to ours. We wanted a big bold photo of our band to draw the attention of the audience to the band so they become more recognisable and well known. SHOOT DAY

On the first Morning of shooting, were we very lucky to have nice bright blue sky weather, however due to the strong sunlight the filming was effecting due to the number of shadows created by people and camera equipment but on a whole I think we managed it well. Furthermore, the ability to use a drone to film some birds eye shots was another bonus as it added another dimension towards our movie and the viewers perspective. Unexpectedly when filming  we did however come across a problem which was the ride of the vehicle uses in the filming. Due to hard suspension some film was jigging about and quite bumpy which did effect our progress but does mean we have to work extra harder to make the film look professional and get the best features in to add to the 'horror' themed effect.
