Then it is possible to create a concept for the video that will blend well with the music the band we are creating obviously has no fan base so it is up to us to get them out their  via various marketing techniques and digipacks the best type of music video contains three different narrative strants, a performance element which the label think is vital as it acts as a fail save. DIFFERENT STYLES OF MUSIC VIDEOS

Although the above definition is true for every music video, there is no definitive way to make a music video correctly. Music videos can support, and portray the message of a song, or can be completely abstract and subjective to each viewer, They can have an independent narrative unrelated to the music, or can even be animated typography of the lyrics, there is no set in stone method or rules for producing music videos. However, every different style and genre or music has a respective "style and genre" of video associated with it. Therefore videos of the same genre of music tend to be very similar. There are a few distinctive styles of music videos,  I will briefly describe each and show you real world examples. Studio Performances. PURPOSE OF A MUSIC VIDEO

Image
One of the main purposes of music videos , is to promote the artist/artists that sing it. Sometimes the artist themselves features the video which gives the person full exposure. But within some music videos the artist does not appear within the video themselves. furthermore more in some cases can tell the story of the lyrics sung by the artist for better understanding towards the audience. For example, the song Photograph sung by Ed Sheeran  has a music video which clearly describes the lyrics which tell about his life story and how he has grown up to where he is today.

ORGANIC VS SYNTHETIC APPROACH TO MUSICANS

ORGANIC Coldplay- Viva la Vida In this music video, it demonstrates  a true representation of organic music. it shows the band itself playing all different types of musical instruments symbolises that they have produced the music video to show there natural talent and not because of there visual image. furthermore it also shows sufficient evidence that they have written there own song and they have let there natural talent shine through the lyrics and harmony. The song Viva La Vida single music cover again is a prime example of organic musicians and music. the cover represent the Liberty Leading The People depicts dead bodies, soldiers, and Liberty waving the French tricolour. it demonstrates strength and bravery which connects to coldplay themselves as there brave in a way that they are no advertising themselves as an image but hoping for popularity based on the product they create. LIP SYNCING TASK

Image
Lethal Bizzle -Fester Skank We chose this song because as a group we like listening to it due to its mix of the funk buzz and the hardcore rap. Furthermore we find it more entertaining in the music video to have a group of people dancing and having a good time. Due to high popularity off the song it was easy to gather a number of people o be in the video however it was harder for people to lip syncing  because of the fast aced lyrics only a small amount of people were able to pronounce the lyrics correctly and at the time of the beat. We overcame this by splitting up the lyrics into smaller sections so more people could have a go at lip syncing. As the song has a very distinguishable beat, it was easy to cut it at particular beats meaning there were less mistakes to be made and everything was in perfect timing. In our music video, we tried to keep it to the original so we only really used one camera shot being a wide angle to get all the people involved in. This i
