MOOD BOARD

MOOD BOARD In our mood board we tried  to visually express the mood and theme of our music video.  The most important part of a mood board is the colours and that is why we decided to keep the colours mainly black and white apart from one obvious one in the middle where a band is performing.  This is because throughout are music video there will be minimal lighting apart from when there are shots back at the studio of the band performing as it shows there passion for music and wanting to become famous reiterated. The setting in the mood board shows that open space and the country side will be a key part of the music video due to it reinforcing the idea that the band have huge dreams and have no limits to there success. This links in with the narrative as its all about the band becoming famous and starting at the bottom as ordinary people. FEEDBACK FROM OUR WEBSITE From the feedback we have received, everyone gave very positive feedback. They all very much liked the black and white theme which continued from the music video. Furthermore the simplify of the website made it easy to navigate to the different parts of the website. They also believed that the hint of green was a nice addition and overall all the people interviewed loved it. FEEDBACK FROM OUR DIGIPAK The people that we interviewed like the photos of the band as it made it look like an old-school band cover.  They  also appreciated the choice of colours, although some did believe that the website should of been a bit brighter. However they did think that the font needed to be a different colour to stand out and catch the eye. Andrew Goodwin - Convention of Music Videos:  He believed that: A relationship between the lyrics and visuals (illustrating, amplifying or contradicting the lyrics). A relationship between music and visuals. Particular genres may have their own video style and iconography.  A demand from the record company for lots of close-ups of the main artist.  Artist develops their own star iconography in and out of there videos.
