FILM PRACTISE RUN THROUGH

Practise Run-through


This video was filmed to show what 75% film was about in a simple and clear perspective without any props except the phone. We did this trial run as it gave us ideas to add and see the areas where room was improvement and visual clue to how the film would play out. We need to however work further on our script as it was clear our script was going to be the  most important to making our film realistic and creating tension.Furthermore, when filming inside the vehicle, the positioning is vital into making it look authentic and a realistic due to the  conversation which is occurring between the passenger and the driver which cannot be done in the video above

OUR BAND WEBSITE

This is why we have gone for the black and white style to give them that authentic image. We have gone for this type of theme throughout all our products including the music video and the digipak. We wanted the star image to come across on the website showing they are a simple band who just want to produce good music for their fans. As well as not having abstract colours to draw in fans as we focused on the music side of our band to increase our fanbase.  Our front page is different to many other bands website similar to ours. We wanted a big bold photo of our band to draw the attention of the audience to the band so they become more recognisable and well known. SHOOT DAY

On the first Morning of shooting, were we very lucky to have nice bright blue sky weather, however due to the strong sunlight the filming was effecting due to the number of shadows created by people and camera equipment but on a whole I think we managed it well. Furthermore, the ability to use a drone to film some birds eye shots was another bonus as it added another dimension towards our movie and the viewers perspective. Unexpectedly when filming  we did however come across a problem which was the ride of the vehicle uses in the filming. Due to hard suspension some film was jigging about and quite bumpy which did effect our progress but does mean we have to work extra harder to make the film look professional and get the best features in to add to the 'horror' themed effect.
