The definition of a thriller is a suspenseful, fast paced story or film, depicting crime, mystery or espionage, often with surprises and plot twists

Suspense Thrillers

In suspense thrillers the audience often know when something negative will happen before it actually occurs and have to believe in a superior amount of knowledge on the plot of the movie, yet cannot stop the inevitable event from unfolding. there are many different types of suspense in thriller and these include the following:
action/adventure

Sci Fi  thrillers
crime caper thrillers
western thrillers
film noire thrillers
romantic comedy thrillers

One example of a spy thriller is the James bond series consisting of some of the greatest 007 movies ever containing a whole cast of great bond actors. we understand that its  a spy thriller due to the fact he is working for the a legal organisation and that he has a licence to kill and must find out secret information to protect and save his country as well as it containing some scenes of terrorism, kidnapping and ransom and even great edge of the seat car chases, although every recent bond movie contains a love and romance it can also be associated as a romantic thriller.



Another example this time of a techno thriller is the die hard movie as it includes some science fiction elements as well as lots of real life action accompanied with some military involvement. This type of film includes a terrorist situation swell with car chases to really enhance the viewing. The use of technology in the filmed is associated with hacking turning the films into a mystery swell trying to accomplish the problem by eventually try to hack onto the governments secrets on his laptop so he gets fired destroying his reputation


Finally one example of a suspense thriller is the dark night rises as the the camera lighting and the non diegetic music that builds up creating tension and surprise leading up to a key moments in parts of the film. the contrast between action, death and emotion all conjure together to create a great fiction films that included violence and car chases to enhance to thrill

This is why we have gone for the black and white style to give them that authentic image. We have gone for this type of theme throughout all our products including the music video and the digipak. We wanted the star image to come across on the website showing they are a simple band who just want to produce good music for their fans. As well as not having abstract colours to draw in fans as we focused on the music side of our band to increase our fanbase.  Our front page is different to many other bands website similar to ours. We wanted a big bold photo of our band to draw the attention of the audience to the band so they become more recognisable and well known. SHOOT DAY

On the first Morning of shooting, were we very lucky to have nice bright blue sky weather, however due to the strong sunlight the filming was effecting due to the number of shadows created by people and camera equipment but on a whole I think we managed it well. Furthermore, the ability to use a drone to film some birds eye shots was another bonus as it added another dimension towards our movie and the viewers perspective. Unexpectedly when filming  we did however come across a problem which was the ride of the vehicle uses in the filming. Due to hard suspension some film was jigging about and quite bumpy which did effect our progress but does mean we have to work extra harder to make the film look professional and get the best features in to add to the 'horror' themed effect.
